Offcut bookcase, maple and cherry, 36”w x 9”d x 55”h
A tall, open-backed bookcase built from many offcuts, which were carefully milled and joined into solid panels. The sides are mainly maple and the shelves are primarily cherry. Shelves are rabbeted into the sides for a clean profile, with a taller bay at the bottom for larger books. Chunky, turned legs are mortise-and-tenoned into the case for stability.
